Model 1866 Allin Conversion Trapdoor Rifle, by Springfield Armory, NVSN, .50-70 cal., 36-1/2'' barrel, bright finish, walnut stock, with three iron bands, 1864 dated lockplate and 1866 dated breechblock. Condition is very good with light to moderate general overall toning to metal surfaces. Moderate scuffs, scratches and oil darkening to stock, with 3'' loss to upper left edge of forestock.
